About Me.
I am surrounded by family and friends in my hometown of Houston. I have a wonderful wife and three sons. We also have an old, beloved dog named Milo. When not spending time with my family, I have always enjoyed photography and art outside of work. My photography includes a wide range of subjects - portraits, wildlife, landscapes, street scenes, pets, sports and macro shots. I have a passion for birding, travel, sketching, gardening, and music.
I love capturing little moments that are easy to miss - taking the ordinary and capturing an extraordinary image. I love the process of capturing images of people and their pets. I aim to capture creative, unique images that stand out from the crowd and could be hung on a gallery wall. I enjoy the process and the results.
I currently shoot on mirrorless equipment. I own two cameras and a handful of L-series lenses. It’s fun to shoot on different types of lenses, so I carry around a wide variety and will bring at least two on a photoshoot.
For photoshoots, I prefer outdoor sessions to capture the best natural light. For photo shoots with dogs, it is best to take them in a familiar location such as their own backyard or a favorite park. My goal is to capture relaxed, candid, natural moments.
